 | Decide what you’re going to do. |
 | Plan. | Start the ball rolling as early as you can, especially if you need to find a venue.
 | The budget. | It is important when planning any event to consider your costs and how you are going to cover them – try to keep them as low as possible so as much as possible goes to our research to save lives.
 | Fundraising. | Think about how you will raise money from your event. As well as selling tickets can you hold a raffle, auction or tombola? Ask us to help too.
 | Any legal requirements? | There may be some legal requirements for your event. Check with us when you register.
 | Publicise. | Attract the interest of your local media to help promote your event.
 | Enjoy the event! | Take lots of photos – they’ll be a great reminder of your event and we may be able to print your story in our newsletter or on our website.
